Down one with 7.1 seconds left Butler gets it inside for the layup. Now they're up one. Pitt inbounds, the ball is rolling towards halfcourt and a Butler player (Shelvin Mack) runs into a Pitt player. Two shots with 1.2 seconds left. Pitt hits the first, then misses the second and a Pitt player hacks a Butler player on the rebound with 0.8 seconds left!!!! Butler makes the first free throw and misses the second on purpose. Game over. 71-70. The Big Least can hang its head in shame. Can we stop giving this conference so much love already? (I'm talking about the national media)

Thats why i love Barkley doing the tournament. He said the only way he would pic a big east team to win is if they were playing another big east team. He has been killing the big east every chance he can get, and he has been right so far.

I know several people who went to schools like Georgetown and Syracuse who consider the Big East to be the "SEC of college basketball". Well, the SEC has won the last five BCS NCs in football. The last time a Big East won the NCAA Tournament was UCONN in 2004.
