1. I may disagree with Gotdweeb, but I can see where he's coming from. He has a rational basis for that opinion.

2. I actually like Dougie and I think he has a lot of good insight regarding collegiate sports and basketball in particular.

Well stated. On point 2, I'd agree with a few other posters about his overall sports knowledge but you make valid points with the contacts he most certainly has across the college landscape. Sober Eddie Sutton was pretty great too. (hell, wasted Eddie was solid.)
