Fitz's shooting touch from his usual spots has all but disappeared the past three games. The last decent game he had was at TTU more than two weeks ago when he scored 14 points on 7 of 16 shooting from the field.

Since that time he has scored 6 points (3 of 7) against UT; a total of 2 points (1 of 5) at ISU; and 6 points (2 of 10) in our win against the Pokes.
That's not good for a starting post player whose greatest strength is making short-range jump shots.

Has he been hurt or sick, or is he just going through a slump every player on team has experienced this season?

Aaryn Ellenburg recently broke out of a slump. Her slump seemed to start when she badly jammed a finger. Fitz could have a nagging injury that is causing him problems.

It has been a joy to watch "Vegas" break out of her slump. Hopefully, Fitz will do so also.

I agree, that's why I brought this up.

Fitz may not always rebound or defend well. But his shooting has been steady the entire season. It's got to be an injury or a sudden loss of confidence that hasn't gone away yet.

Fitz's play was part of the reason we saw so much CJ last night. That and CJ's play itself.

I feel like the D has been a lot better on Fitz. Hes had to put the ball on the floor a lot more to get a shot up which is obviously not his strong suit. Just think with the right matchup, where Fitz can get enough space, he will start dropping it in.
