Dykes and Cooper-Dyke OUT

Alexa Middleton is leaving Tennessee... High school All American class of 2014.

Louisville has been hit again, 6'4 freshman post Ciera Johnson is now transferring out as well... original from Texas, I'm sure Baylor will reach out.

I would think that Baylor would be looking more at guards to replace Davis and Prince, perhaps a real point. Despite losing Nina and Mompremier, they have Katrina and Cox. They need a floor general.

Is it a case of being recruited over her or discontent?

Walz has a tendency to take as many Top players as possible and sign them... he signed the Degrante girl from Texas in 2015, and then signed 2 more top 20 post players in 2016, and also is bring in another Top post player from the class of 2017... it's a good strategy to some but normally transfers is the result.

Baylor has some really good players in the back court and on the wing.. almost a bit of a log jam, because there's a chance that a player like 6'2 guard DiDi Richards coming off the bench. Where they are hurting is down low, if you start Brown and Cox then you have no size off the bench.. Cohan is only about 6'1 and more of a Wing herself if asked to play back up center things could get ugly inside...

I think Nancy outperformed her this year. She had something like four points, two rebounds per game.

She started a handful of games... and had a nice stretch vs Notre Dame where you could see she has potential and could be a old school low post finisher. But with Shook fitting better for there offense and Loretta Kakala coming in she probably saw the writing on the wall...

Johnson and Mulkey actually compare pretty favorably, both had ok years.

Anyone have any idea if we are interested in any of the recent transfers? Any news on any of them?

Ali Patberg is staying home, will play for Indiana... they have a nice big combo guard coming in 2018, so they should have a nice one to punch...

UConn's Natalie Butler headed to George Mason

Ciara Johnson Louisville transfer is moving on to Texas A&M

Mackenzie Calvert is going to be a graduate transfer from KU. She is the WBB player whose car was vandalized by KU men's player Luke Jackson. A decent chance she will sue KU for retaliation for her police report on this.
