This is one to worry about for 2011. He dominated the FIBA Europe U18 games (because he didn't have to square up against my dawg from Croatia).

He's going to Findlay Prep in Nevada (UT factory)
He's from Turkey (where Doogie Balbay is from)
He wants to play college ball instead of take the millions that await him in Europe (so he has to go someplace where athletes are taken care of)

7'0" very physical and skilled. Averaged 18 pts, 16 rebs, 2 blocks per game against the best players his age in Europe.

He has a TON of schools on him. Is Homer's kid chasing him, DFW? Sounds like a really good kid that is different from most kids his age and his skill level.

I would be shocked if Drew wasn't on him. But the signs are pointing UT. I'll be surprised if he ends up somewhere else. We'll see.

That is not an exaggeration. Here's the list of schools he's hearing from according to Scout. Oklahoma is one of them:

Among the schools that have already shown interest are UCLA, USC, Kansas, Texas, Arizona, Arizona State, Florida, UCONN, Illinois, Tennessee, Georgetown, UNLV, Oklahoma, Oregon St, Georgia Tech, Marquette, SMU, Arkansas, Memphis, Kentucky, Ohio State, Harvard, George Mason, New Mexico, Florida Atlantic, Georgia, Virginia, Hawaii, TCU, San Diego, Mississippi St, Alabama, LSU, South Florida, Rice, West Virginia and Indiana.

With Findlay Prep being a UT factory and Balbay on the team, I would be shocked as well if he didn't go to the Horns.

Sounds like a good pick-up.
