Fire Porter Moser

With all due respect for the great work @TEvans4Three I'm going to take any list of rising coaches that has Porter Moser on it with a grain of salt!
Bingo. That he is listed is actually hilarious (also valentine is trending toward being fired this year too). Apparently there somehow still is some milk left in that dusty final 4 teet against all odds

A few that track with my list earlier. I would say no to Valentine lol.

I don't mind the idea of a proven assistant, it is just so hit or miss with them. (Mostly miss)

Takayo is jumping into my list.
Bryce Drew is a fringe candidate at Grand Canyon. (6-4 this year)
From my reading of this list, the HCs are all terrible, except Jerrod Calhoun utah state and Bryan Hodgson USF. They could be named to watch for us

I put Porter Moser in that last spot as a comparison, not in the article.
The article was also written mid-September.

Sorry for the confusion all.

I thought you were clear on what you presented. Obviously, it was stated that you placed Moser on the spreadsheet for comparison.

Moser’s last stand begins in minutes. If he loses to a second-year coach at a school that took over a mess, he shouldn’t make it to Festivus.

He's got a chance right now to build momentum. We'll be favored in every game until A&M. We can beat A&M. 13-3 with Alabama and Florida at home is opportunity to get back on the horse.

I don’t think anything over the next three weeks will build momentum. Like always with Moser, the question is whether he can avoid blowing home games we should win in the conference. We could win the final three noncon games by 100 but it won’t matter at all if we gag on Jan. 3.

Bump.

Josh Schertz of St. Louis is an intriguing guy. Sure wish we had McCollum or Grant McCasland or any number of guys we could have had after it became painfully obvious how inept MMM is.

*Porter was not listed as a "who could be next", just there for comparison reasons.

Updated with current standings and results. I have added my really likes in green from the previous list. Assistants as well that I want, but wary of ACs. Then from my original list and two other new names, Hoiberg (wont happen), and Shaheen Holloway from Seton Hall.

Could we get UCF head coach? We know they can win a big game.

Great question and I ALMOST added him to my list. The only reason I did it, was looking at coaches who did shorter stints and not longer terms with schools.

Johnny Dawkins career:

To me he seemed like a long term guy, but anything is possible.

Jerrod Calhoun is the clear winner with your update here out of your guys. 2nd = Schertz, but not impressive with his worse than Loser Moser SOS. I might even go Hodgson over Schertz, if pressed on it.

But look at my guy Hoiberg on your list tho.. I had people crapping on me about him.. oh look, undoubtedly nebbish's best start to a season ever? Oh and he whipped Loser Moser? Playing a 3x harder schedule than Loser. I think we could flip him. Nebraska is a worse OU job. No prestige or history. Sadly, he is building something tho, while Loser is well, losing..

Nebraska fanbase is in another stratosphere than ou fanbase. It would be foolish to leave for ou.
