Fire Porter Moser

Without cause..?.. I think sucking a$$ … would BE CAUSE… ridiculous.

There is cause. Look at the damage he has caused the program. He should owe us for all the damage that’s been done.
Moser will argue that he didn't get enough resources and fan support resulting in his teams not reaching their ceilings.

If he is fired, Porter will have a right to his contractual buyout, even if that is the remainder owed under his contract. The only out a school ever has is if they have grounds to fire a coach for "cause", which is a term that is defined in these coaches contracts. Generally, "cause" is defined to means serious misconduct or specific lists of forbidden things. Never seen an OU basketball coach contract, but I when I was representing an athlete that had her scholarship pulled by an OU coach. We prevailed and got relief from OU for the coaches conduct, but were told the coach's conduct didn't amount to "cause" necessary to warrant job termination. But, we were told at the end of the contract, the matter would be taken into consideration on whether to renew. I'm just guessing, but would imagine all the coaches contracts are probably drafted about the same way.

While he would technically be right, here is what Kelvin Sampson publicly mentioned the other day, though no mention of the fan base. Obviously, Houston is a Final Four contender annually with him as a HOF coach. But I'm guessing Kellen may be taking over very soon. For Kelvin to say what he said tells me that retirement is near.

Nah. Imo hes just demanding more $$$ for the final pushes of his career. He wants a natty. I don't think he'll quit for 5-10 more years

Cause, no cause. No one really cares. Just fire him.

People tried to warn us that he was barely a career .500 coach. That's exactly what he is here. His biggest job was Loyola and he fell up to the SEC. He was fired at Illinois State. He's not a very good coach and is in way over his head. But at least he build a culture wall. I'm guessing he will land at St. Louis next season.
