I didn't get to see the game. And after seeing the score and highlights didn't really want to see the replay, but why did Fitzgerald only get 6 min in the game?

I didnt think it was a good matchup for him. He was struggling trying to guard monelo (spelling)

Exactly. He couldn't cover any of their guards. When we play OSU is the one time that I'm glad Capel goes with 4 guards. The rest of the time I wish he had played 2 bigs this year so we wouldn't have had such a disadvantage on the boards.

That being said, we still got outrebounded by OSU. But what else is new.

Crocker is a better defender/rebounder/scorer than Fitz.

Very true. But Fitz wasn't the only one who couldn't cover his man. We didn't have anyone who could guard Anderson. The real mystery to me, though, is how Keiton Page, the best three point shooter on the team, was left completely alone for one wide open three after another?

Fixed it for you.

Fitz is a much better shooter/scorer. Crocker has been a good player over the 4 years, but he missed every shot he took in the first 10 minutes last night and since we don't rebound it put us in a hole. I think he took every shot every time down the floor. He's just not a good shooter and never has been. He can get on a roll at times, but that's it.

i don't think we have seen enough of fitz to say he is a better scorer/shooter

No, but I've seen enough of Crocker missing shots, that's for sure. 4 of 11 last night, and I think 6 of those misses were in the first 5 minutes.

Of course it didn't help that we decided not to rebound.

At this point in time, Crocker is a better scorer...there is no question about it.

Crocker had 28 in a Sweet Sixteen and dropped 20+ in a half this year...there isn't really a comparison.

haha but your point was that fitz was a better shooter/scorer! If you haven't seen enough of fitz to say that, how can you say it?

fitz needs to slim down, seems his man is always beating him down the court for wide open lay up or where one of our guards have to cover fitz's man and that leaves another person open but fitz for now seems to be very average on defense and in the big 12 most of the guys fitz is guarding are athletic and he is not, has he dunked it this year?

Because I've seen enough of Crocker (missing shots). ;)

Let me add to that, Crocker gave it his all on defense and rebounding and was a decent offensive player. I was kind of being sarcastic because Crocker isn't a very good shooter. He's had a few good moments (the Syracuse game, the Centenary game, and the shot vs. Baylor) but overall he misses a bunch of easy buckets (wide open or not). He was still one of the better players on this team, though.
