Down 1, with 7 seconds left. Woodard steals the inbound pass, then tips in his teammate's miss to win the State Championship

Also according to some reports I've seen, Woodard played the game on a torn hamstring.

A couple of state champions, staying IN Oklahoma to play against each other. I like it.

Hamstring would explain it. Woodard didn't show up to play until about 4 minutes left. Although, last game against MWC he put up 20+ I think

Jordan was definitely not himself. I noticed from the first game on that he lacked aggression in taking defenders off of the dribble, and that his usual explosion was missing. I even commented to a friend of mine during the championship game that he seemed to be favoring his right leg. I didn't reailize he was playing with a torn hamstring until Sam posted it last weekend.

An injuried hamstring can be slow to heal. I hope he gives it the rest it needs this summer, so he can come in strong as ever in the fall. We'll need him next season.

Yeah, hamstrings are among the injuries I dread most for our players; they can linger so long and so frequently get aggravated. I wish our training staff could start working with Woodard now.

Can they in June once he has graduated or do they have to wait until august?

I'm fairly sure our S & C staff can begin to work with him in June. I also think members of OU's medical team can evaluate and follow his progress if need be. I could be wrong, but doubt that I am.

Thanks for the info

I pretty sure that is right too. But, they do have to be enrolled in summer school.
