Gallon

It's called growth.

Exactly. I really liked what I saw from him the last 8-9 games. He hustled, played hard, and had a better everall attitude. Some times all it takes is to get rid of one or two bad seeds for everything else to fall into line.

What about the other 29 games?

I never thought I would see the day that a good attitude in 6.5% of the games would be worthy of putting on a Sooner uniform the next year.

Times sure aren't what they used to be.

Another thing that sucks is how bad message board posters have gotten.

sigh

Tiny coming back would be such a huge boost to this program. Let's all hope that either the transaction was somehow legit, or that there is a way for him to pay it back and serve a punishment (probably at least half of the non-conference season).

I think we need to recruit like we arent going to have him, and just hope he comes back...if we recruit like we wont have him we should get a few quality posts, and if gallon comes back we should be pretty deep downlow

Good point. I'm sure Coach Capel is preparing for the worst (no Gallon).

His last two games gave me optimism. We can't go around holding people hostage for things they did in the past.

This could be a solid starting five if the improvement on defense is there.

1. Carter
2. Warren
3. Davis
4. Gallon
5. Nidaye

Bench: Clark ,Taylor, and Neal as of right now

I think if Willie comes back he'll run the point some. That would make it so Clark and Davis could both start. Carter would provide depth as he figured out how to play at the D-1 level.

I havent seen much about this on the boards, but has anyone considered what difference it'll make for Gallon if he's playing PF instead of center? if capel somehow lands Aziz, they would have a solid defensive presence at the 5 and that'll ease the pressure for Gallon to be a defensive stallwort. last year the problems were compounded by the lack of defensive play. maybe he's a completely different player when he has a good solid defensive pound-the-glass 5 like Aziz.

I agree. But I think gallon comes back a completely different player next year regardless...He has all the skills, now he has to work..dude is going to be a stud next year

No Pledger of Fitz? And If I were to bet on the roster that you presented, I would probably pencil in Fitz and Cam rotating at the four.
