GAME 27 - OKLAHOMA (16-10) vs #21 MISSISSIPPI ST (19-7) 12:00pm CST on SECNETWORK

Uga is 2-10 in quad 1.
I don’t think they’d beat us because they are world beaters. I think they’d beat us at least half the time on a neutral floor because they have a better coach and a guy who is a very tough matchup for us in the post. I think it’s a fairly even matchup, so I don’t think it’s quite accurate for people to think that we “should” have won at their place.

No argument from me about beating them there. Uga is a legit team and they had that place rocking. No shame whatsoever losing that one. It’s damn near impossible to win in tough road environments in college against higher quality teams.

I think ou wins more than they lose at neutral court against uga, but acknowledge that their post presence would be an issue. Fears is an issue for them, though.

If Moore is willing to bang inside and box out, we would be ok. He supposed to be a power forward, but played like a small guard.

I was out all day, but I was pleasantly surprised by the win. Appreciate the effort. Glad to get the win.

I'll always root for OU, even with the coaching situation. I wish Porter no ill will.

This may have been shared earlier today. Dale retired Dayton's jersey last night. I didn't expect this part, but Porter and the entire team showed up for him.

They may be undermanned, and Porter may be outcoached most nights. But he's doing some things right off the court, and the guys haven't given up on each other. (Or at least they like Dayton.)

Let's see how this season plays out. Hopefully it works out well for both Porter and OU.

Very cool. Def doesn’t seem like a team that has quit on each other.

I'm watching the game now. I'll say what I've thought most every game in conference play, but have rarely said: SEC officiating is no better than the Big 12 and it's arguably worse.
Because there is no such thing as SEC or Big 12 officiating.

From tv you could see he lost more than one. It’s weird there wasn’t any visible blood though. So I’m guessing they were crowns
I’ve had my front teeth chipped from basketball- took an elbow. One slightly and the other basically broke in half. It hurts like crap for a few minutes, or the air exposure will get to the nerve and hurt. But if you can keep the mouth shut, one can manage. They can put a temp cap on it and get a crown. Either way, he’ll be good next game.

Having that happen in a college game and finishing the game. WOW. That’s a man.
