GAME 27 - OKLAHOMA (16-10) vs #21 MISSISSIPPI ST (19-7) 12:00pm CST on SECNETWORK

I mean, do you think any of them could have just said no and not gone lol?
Why do you gotta be this way on everything? I wasn’t even meaning that it was an “individual” decision…PM didn’t have to make this a team event and could easily just cash it in like you have as a “fan”. You go way out of your way to turn something positive into something negative. Give it a rest.

Because I think your comment was silly. And piss off with your sarcastic “fan” comment. Just because I have been vocal about how poor a job Moser has done doesn’t make me any less of a fan than you or any of the others who pat yourselves on the back because you think you are superior.

Very cool. Def doesn’t seem like a team that has quit on each other.

Good point. No, they haven't quit on each other. Their effort against Mississippi State proves that...and happy they were all there for Dayton. No need to further analyze why they were there. As we all know, it's still about wins at this point in the season. We at least have a decent chance against Kentucky, something I would not have thought of three days ago.

Dayton with two clutch free throws late, and also hit an important three point shot. This young man has ice water in his veins.
.
He just needs to learn not to pass off to Godwin late in games when we are in the double bonus. One of the many head scratchers that happened the last 3 minutes that almost led to a monumental collapse.

I can't figure out how Arkansas would be ahead of us.

And then I looked at their remaining schedule...
I'm risking starting a holy war here, but after all the screaming about the late-game situations by many, at least everyone got to see OU win that game. The pro guys up north in OKC, who are never criticized for anything, blew a 25-point lead, including a 16-point spread in regulation in the final three minutes (more than what OU had led by in Saturday's game), and lost.

I know you aren’t comparing the Thunder’s season to OU’s season or their coaching compared to our coaching because that would be very very stupid.

That's NOT EVEN CLOSE to what I was saying. I was just pointing out the double-standard of a similar situation that occurred over the weekend - the Thunder never get criticism when it's due, and they lost in that situation. OU won, albeit stressfully, the other day.

Anytime someone uses the Thunder to bash OU, it just reinforces my desire to not care anything about them, either way. I don't root against them, but I have also never been to one of their games.

There’s no double standard. They’re completely different situations.
1. The Thunder are the best team in the league. They will be the number one seed. They aren’t playing for their playoff life.
2. The Thunder play 82 games. That game was virtually meaningless.
3. The Sooners blew a pivotal game earlier in the year in which they had a huge lead in the 2nd half.
4. The Sooners are fighting to make the dance in a 31 game season. Every single game is crucial.
5. The Sooners also lost key games to UGA and LSU. The last one embarrassingly.

So you’re comparing apples and oranges and trying to use a strawman to bash people who are expressing unhappiness in how we’re being coached.

While you are right that the Thunder should be ripped for blowing such a big league (regardless of circumstances) you have to recognize the obvious fact that the Thunder have a significant cushion whereas OU has/had absolutely none. That's the simple low hanging fruit for the disparate treatment

It's the difference between criticizing Michael Jordan for missing a layup as opposed to Sam Godwin. One has earned some grace for a very rare screwup, while the other is a trend that is rightly called out.
