GAME 3 - OKLAHOMA (2-0) VS STETSON (1-2) - 1PM CST on SECNETWORK

You see anything positive today?
Elvis played well. But against this competition, there is really nothing much to take away from games. That’s why it’s silly to play this kind of schedule. Look around the country and there have been so many examples of power conference teams challenging themselves already, and we won’t learn anything about our team till Atlantis.

Fears double figures first 3 games of his career ..

moore over 20 first 3 games of the season .. (first for a sooner since Buddy)

went small for the fist 9 min of the season as well .

To quote Coach..."Lol!"

"Lol!" = You're exhausting. You're adverse to saying anything positive about this team in any scenario. Even when you try, it's a backhanded compliment.

Really glad the team had a 20+ point blowout win today, but it was against a terrible team so it basically counts as a loss.

Feel free to celebrate all you want. If you feel good about games where we play well for 15 total minutes against the worst teams in the country, then it explains why people act surprised when we get our teeth kicked in against legitimate competition.

Look forward to highlights/replay, sounds like Elvis has great game. No fouls for Wague.

Understand case to not start Fears, just wish PM would because he has been so good haha.

Someone tell me, when is Jones and Goodine back?

Also, did anyone see Jeff nwako before he got hurt compared to the rest of the guys (for next year)?

Good grief. What puzzles me is that you think it's productive to regurgitate the same things over and over and over again. We all know how you feel. You don't like Moser and want him fired; the schedule sucks; the team sucks; the development of talent sucks...I'm sure there is plenty more I'm missing. What you aren't grasping is that it's not necessary to repeat all of this in every thread. Sometimes it's best to make your point and move on.

I am not a fan of this schedule, either...but I'm not going to bitch and moan over a 21-point victory. I'd rather focus on where we can improve. For example, Stetson had a player that lit us up today. Is he someone who could play in the SEC or did our Sooners do a poor job of guarding him?

Stetson lost to the Citadel by 22.....which is not very reassuring to me. Still, I'm going to reserve judgment until we get a few more guys back, but so far I don't see much difference when comparing this team to our most recent teams.

I'd love for you to point out where anyone said anything unrealistic about this game...... I'll wait.

We beat a team we were supposed to beat. We beat them by more than 20 points. The guys on the bench got a lot of good minutes. Was it always pretty? No. Does this team still have a lot of work to do? Yes! Am I going to celebrate and be happy anytime my team wins? Yes! Am I going to point out good things that they did? Yes. Am I also going to point out negative aspects of the game? Yes.

It's exhausting having you constantly tell everyone in every single thread on this board why we shouldn't be happy. I can't recall a single time anyone on this board has ever tried to tell you why not to be miserable.

You're not an unintelligent person. There are times you have really good insights. But those times are beaten to death by your constant negativity. I would think you would be just as tired with all this back and forth as everyone else is.

Jeff was reported as our best player. Didn’t see with my own eyes

Goodine could play if needed I think. Jones back 1-2 weeks I’d assume
