I was wondering about that. I haven’t seen them play but that is really odd. Have you seen them? Is it a case where they are great athletes but still developing as basketball players?

harper is a 6'6 PG but he can't shoot .. the other is a 6'9 shooter / kd type but is very raw ..

and they don't have good coaching

Isnt forsyth statistically beating goodine at 3%? For me, forsyth does those small things and is likely generally tougher than goodine. Id personally flip flop their roles rn if it were up to me.

I have a friend who was a major college basketball coach. We were talking about the deficiencies OU had trom a talent standpoint before the season.

I asked him if OU could make the tournament. He said not based on personnel. He said that often in the business a lot, coaches have their back is against the wall and teams respond by playing above their talent level. He said he wouldn’t be surprised if that happened with this team.

After the Kentucky, game, the moving crew had their truck backed into Porter’s driveway. The coaching job he did at Ole Miss in the road, Texas, a slumping Missouri, and Georgie have been outstanding. He’s still a spazz, but his energy and sideline communication has definitely changed. I also noticed assistants who have typically been quiet with Porter, take initiative and help communicate for him. Hump did that yesterday with Fears.

It's not like he's a freshman. He came in an experienced but flawed player. Neither Huggins nor Oats got him fixed in one season, either.
