GAME 35- THE CROWN - OKLAHOMA (19-15) vs COLORADO (17-15) 7:00pm CST on FS1

In his last 5 seasons, Lon had the same amount of 20 win seasons as 20 loss seasons.
He also had two seasons cut short by COVID where he likely would have won 20. Not that 20 is saying much, and his last few heats were disappointing, but let’s not pretend that he got to coach 35 games, which is what it took Moser to barely eek out a 20th win. And also, if Lon took the noncon approach Moser does, he could have easily picked up two or three extra cheap wins each year.

Winning percentage over last 5 seasons:

Lon - 54%
Moser - 56%

Again, check the noncon schedules. And like I said, I’m not suggesting Lon’s last five years were good. But he didn’t schedule wins like Moser. And Lon had one awful season that drags his overall winning percentage down

I was one of the people posting that we had or needed a a better play against Ok State and Cade Cunningham. than Reaves going one on 5.

frustrated we lost both times, almost the same week,

I liked that team with Reaves and D'vion Harmon.

But typical late Lon 8/9 game and against Gonzaga or Virginia killers

Noncon. TEvans and others have posted years of data on the noncon SOS. It’s not remotely close. Lon had years where we were top 30 noncon. Moser is closer to 300. He plays 7 games each year that are impossible to lose and a few others that you’d have to really crap the bed to lose.

Season long SOS is way more relevant to season long win total. I am posting facts and you are just posting opinions.

No, you’re not addressing my point. It is, in fact, a fact that Moser pads his win totals in a way Lon didn’t do. And while you talk about season long SOS, the committee expressly factors noncon SOS more heavily. So that’s also a fact.
