1. Why even sub?
2. Getting Cole to the table late..immediately after the first ft
3. Not letting the officials know ya have a sub, hell, that was routine when I coached hs ball.

My point is that if a player is thrown off because he’s getting subbed out at the end of a game, he is mentally weak. That’s not a player you want at the line. Either way, it was not well managed by Moser which was the entire point I’ve been making this whole time. I’m unsure why it’s so hard for some of us here to admit that Moser poorly managed the end of the game. He did unnecessary things that almost cost us.

lol… that’s a good one. Coached hs ball both girls and guys for 8 yrs… we NEVER waited until the ref gave the ft shooter the ball…

So is it your position that Moser, who himself said after the game that Cole was in fact not supposed to go on the floor, was trying to “big brain” it by not psyching out his own player to sub him out up 4?

Even though it was unnecessary to sub at that point? If he was subbing for the shooter, that would’ve meant he could only come in up 4 when his sub wasn’t relevant is why I ask. I’d love your thoughts here

As it was, he acted a bit meek, and seemed to take all of the explanations without much change in expression. That leads me to believe he knows he screwed up. With the winner's bracket losing steam due to upsets, it sets up a nice opportunity for us to make some hay.

In other news, I expected to be madder than I was when I saw the Elvis travel on replay. Upon further review, he took about 5.34 steps. Good grief! Talk about a team flirting with disaster. Lots to be learned in the film study of the final minute!

On behalf of all of the pinheads and math dorks (like me) who love computer algorithms, you are correct in that the analytics will reflect a 2-pt win on a neutral court....although a 4 point win would have been a cover. The last closing line I saw was OU -2.5.
 
Good win. Some mistakes at the end. Some not all on moser. He took the blame on the substitution deal. He coaches not to fiul but fears is a freshman. Freshmen do freshmen things.

If a couple 5th year guards hit thier freethrows we cruise to win. I thought providence looked like a pretty good team.

Watching zona, I think wichita is right. The key will be rebounding. Particularly keeping them off the offensive glass.

Yes!!!! On Halloween, my daughter & I, who now work for the OKCPD, found my sister deceased on her couch. It was most devastating. I can't remember anything significant in my life that didn't include my sister..... Tomorrow will be weird because she was the person my daughter and I always did holidays, birthdays, etc with. Make sure you enjoy your family and the time you have with them. I didn't see the game because of work commitments, but I'm thrilled we got the W. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.
