GAME 7 - OKLAHOMA (4-2) vs Marquette (4-3) from Chicago 1:00pm CST on NBC

He can’t guard on-ball. This was an especially bad matchup for him because Marquette, as usual, has multiple guys that can get downhill an a hurry.
I hope he stays patient and keeps working hard. I doubt he’ll play much over JJ unless his defense drastically improves.

Just got home from the game.

1) First half looked like a team still learning to play together. Second half was MUCH more cohesive.

2) We played MUCH better when Brown wasn’t on the court.

3) Davis, Wague and Reid were beasts in the second half.

4) Nwankwo has a pretty shot.

In all, first half was a dud. Coaches made adjustments at half and the second half was great.

Oh, and Pack was the best player on the floor. Though their freshman Nigel might have been second.

Were there many OU fans at all there?

Jadon jones should be a starter or 6th man
Wonder what you would think about starting with a small lineup to keep Wague out of foul trouble early. Jones instead of Wague, move Davis to the 5 to start, where he'll have a huge offensive advantage.

My thoughts :

Looked far less lethargic ;

Showing flashes of really good play both offensively and defensively

Doubt dayton or brown plays that bad again

Most encouraging thing for me was the kids hitting shots down the stretch when it mattered

And finally, pack is a really good player. Really good. Good win

I recorded the game. Did OU give up 120?
Brother, they were on about a 110-115 scoring pace in the first 8 minutes....it was bad. But credit to the team and coaches for some adjustments and more importantly, they just played harder in the last 15 minutes of game time. That helps more than anything.

That’s why I don’t react until the game is over. Not going to look good the whole game. Held them to 2nd lowest output of the season.

I’d like to see it in spurts!

I’d still start wague but jones would be my first sub and it’s not close
