GAME 7 - OKLAHOMA (4-2) vs Marquette (4-3) from Chicago 1:00pm CST on NBC

Glad I recorded it … then knew the outcome.

That TO, up 1 with 17 sec left would have given my BP a run.

The first 15 min of second half they worked hard and looked good… the last 5 not so much…

A win though

It obviously worked today becuase Davis played great, but I’d be a little leery of just going small on a regular basis. Marquette isn’t a good rebounding team, and they also don’t have many great athletes. Our small lineup was not good against Gonzaga and will have issues in the conference.

No chance.

I know many think they are coaches but some actually coach.

Sorry your inside sales job isnt satisfying enough for you.
My son is a middle school coach; I’m very proud of him!
This was a good win that I hope helps us turn the corner. Like others have said, I think we have more talent this year. It’s a case of molding that talent into a team. I thought there was real improvement in our defense today during the rally.

I wish we celebrated our wins more than we bash our coach, but that’s life on the internet. No matter what any of us say, results are going to dictate actions.

My God, you’re a miserable human being.

It wasn’t a madhouse, but it got pretty wound up in there when Marquette tied it up.
Why does everyone have to embellish things, though? Why can’t we just say hey, cool, we won a neutral site game over a Big East team, let’s hope it carries over? Instead, it’s “we won a road game in a hostile environment.” Like I said, the difference between home, road, and neutral is meaningful, and it isn’t hard to know the difference. People are lazy as hell when they refer to neutral games as road games. And it also is true the other way — people are lazy when they call the Gonzaga game a neutral game because that was a true road game. It isn’t hard to be accurate.

After rewatching Nebraska game, we were not good defensively in the post. Nebraska was able to exploit that later in the game resulting in so many shot opened at the perimeter because we have to pack it inside. Gonzaga and Nebraska were able to beat us by exploiting our weakness inside. Last year SEC teams are able to exploit us inside. Teams like Auburn and Alabama took advantage of us inside. Moser upgraded our roster this year athletically with David, Reid and Roger, but we have to develop them fast else it will be a miserable when we hit SEC schedule.

When you put something in quotes, it implies somebody said it, but I don't believe anybody did. The quote just said road but nothing about hostile, and you went off on a diatribe about Allen Fieldhouse, which sounds a lot like...embellishment.
