As most of you probably know, Gary Parrish at CBS Sports regularly puts out his own Top 26 as the season progresses. It usually looks quite a bit different than the aggregated polls, but he updated it yesterday to reflect Marvin Bagley committing to Duke and reclassifying for 2017:

Anyway, I went through his list and began to realize just how tough OU's schedule is this year. Here's the rundown:

#12 North Carolina (most likely; PK80 invitational)
#4 Michigan State (potentially; PK80 invitational)
#9 USC (at USC)
#5 Wichita State (at WSU)
#15 Northwestern
#19 Alabama (at Alabama; Big 12-SEC challenge)
#3 Kansas X 2
#18 Baylor X 2
#21 West Virginia X 2

Maybe I'm alone in feeling this way, but I had no idea the schedule was setting up to be this challenging. If the Sooners can get through the non-con at 8-4 or 9-3, I think that would be great.

Yeah, it's one man's opinion, but I thought it would make for some good off-season fodder. Thoughts?

8 and 4 would not be great but so so. Great would be 10 and 2 but it is a very tough and ambitious schedule.

Lets play the games first and then there will be ample to time to worry whether the won loss record is acceptable or not.

9-3 + 11-7 = 20-8. Win two in the big 12 tourney and get a 5 seed. Make the sweet 16.
