@GeorgesNiang20: Glad I get another year to compete against one of the best players in the country!! Congrats on your decision bro @buddyhield

You have to respect a competitor that says that. It would be easy to dislike your competition.

I get the impression most players and coaches around the league like and respect Buddy. Its hard not to.

At the LeBron James Skills Academy, Hield was alongside conference opponents Kelly Oubre and Perry Ellis of Kansas, West Virginia guard Juwan Staten, Iowa State forward Georges Niang, Kansas State guard Marcus Foster and Texas guard Isaiah Taylor.

That's where they invited the top 30 college players.

That is so odd. How could 7 of the top 30 players be from the Big XII when the ACC, SEC, PAC 10, Big Ten all have more schools in their conference and therefore should have more than 1/5 of the top 30 players. This is especially odd given that Boca said there are no good players in the Big XII or whatever he said.

Boca is a tool. I wish I could block his posts.

Of course, this sets up the conference POY next year, plus or minus (minus, I hope) Perry Ellis.

If Buddy got POY in his senior year, it would mark the first time an OU player since Taj Gray (a JUCO transfer, FWIW) made Big 12 POY as a senior.

Has anyone ever won it back to back?
