I don't read enough on this board to say ABD is a curmudgeon or hates Capel or secretly wants OU to lose to prove some point as some suggest. But I do know that ABD is pretty smart. Certainly he wouldn't come on the board right after a disappointing loss to air his same old grievances, especially after people have taken offense to his recent posting. He doesn't need to make those points right now, the team pointed out the weaknesses he predicted themselves through their play, and plenty of other posters are going to do his job of crying doom and gloom for him.
IF he really does have "ulterior motives" for his posts, I'll bet he's sitting back in a comfy chair right now thinking, "The team just proved me right, and the other posters are going crazy right now complaining about what I already said even though they resisted believing me at the time. Hopefully I continue to be right, so eventually I'll be regarded as a prophet for forseeing Capel's inadequacy. Everyone will love me then, and respect my opinion." Of course he's forgotten that a prophet is never accepted in his own hometown, and even if he's right fans would rather believe a lie than believe in nothing as he does.
