Beasley and Walker are long gone, yet Kansas State is better than it's ever been. Martin didn't cobble together a flash-in-the-pan team; he's built a program.

Good point there that I haven't thought of. I like the guy too, and he's fun to watch on the sidelines. Very intense. Also gotta love the caliber athlete he's bringing in. Surprised we haven't seen fatty around much so far this year.

A rush to judgment is almost always wrong. Hopefully all the critics of our current economic policies will accept they are wrong as gracefully as big has about his premature coaching assessments.
