Can you guys think of anyone in the modern era that is a good comparison for him? My knowledge goes back to 1995, and I really can't think of someone similar to him. Big, power guard with that kind of athletic ability.

Ere and Warren were both pretty big/athletic guards.
Might even throw in Detrick.

Warren definitely threw it down a lot but he was a much better player... maybe Detrick isn't a bad example. Detrick was great at getting to the hole, but did he throw it down all the time like Williams?

I’ll admit I’m not as good at these comparisons as those who played the game (high school, college, etc). However, to me he reminds me a little bit of a guy named Tyrone Jones, who didn’t play much on OU’s great team of ‘88, but was a starter in ‘89 (and also a JUCO).

Angelo Hamilton?

He’s a less polished version of Willie warren III.

hamilton was like the great unicorn when billy brought him in. his athleticism was near legendary. plus he was strong as an ox. but he never truly panned out to meet his potential.

alondes reminds me of that nate guy kelvin had.

with his ferocity, no one imo. some of his dunks have been the most vicious i have ever seen. he should have had another big dunk last night, but gave it up too quickly.

nolan not nate. like nolan johnson or whatever his name was. he was a fireplug always driving also.
