Grab a rebound, Fitz.

We pressed Idaho State probably 75% of the time. And when we didn't press, we trapped a lot of the time.

Do you think we'll keep that up against KU? UT? Mizzou? OSU? Or pretty much any other team that can "out-talent" us right now? KU's guards will abuse that kind of pressure. And we become even slower with Pledger back.

We'll see how it plays out. LK had some athletic teams at UNLV, and I don't recall him pressing/trapping that much. I think what we're seeing now is just to get us used to it. I still think it gets dialed back at some point.

UNLV didn't press or trap a whole bunch, they did play aggressive man-to-man in the halfcourt. However, they also used undersized players in the Mountain West, Tre'von Willis would have a difficult time guarding his position in the Big XII.

Grab a rebound, Fitz.
Make a free throw, anyone.

 Soooo frustrating at the end of the game! FREE points and we miss em!

Fitz can't jump and is not a good athlete.

Rebounding is more about position and will than being a good or even great athlete...he can create space and use his body to eliminate that...in the college game it is not as much about who can outjump who, it is about who can get a body on someone and go to the ball...

There is also a sixth sense to rebounding that some have and some dont...apparently Fitz just doesnt have it...

I wouldn't even call it a sixth sense, Fitz plays like he has 0 desire to actually get a rebound unless it just falls on the ground and rolls towards him. And Edmond is right, look at the NBA and some of the best rebounders, most are workhorses who aren't athletes but they know how to use their bodies to create space and really go after the ball. There are no good to great rebounders who are lazy players.

I swear I never thought I'd ever cry for the day that OU could have someone like Brian Zoubek on our team.

Kenneth Faried was is a legitimate 6'6"-6'7" and he rebounds like there is no tomorrow.
