Grandy Glaze?

That would be interesting...is he in the mold of Ernie Abercrombie?

All the scouting reports I've read on described him as a bull down low, really physical and tough down low.

Going to include what I find in a recruiting update this evening about Glaze and various other stuff.

I'm really hoping that we offer and get a commit from Arent by this weekend and then a commit from Olaseni or Glaze (or both if possible) soon after...

i hope kstate makes an effort. love him.

If that undersized post can play, then yes...we need to balance the roster, and we need quality players...from what I can tell, Glaze has some talent, and he would add a freshman to the roster...so we lose a senior (Thompson) and replace him with a freshman with (arguably) more talent (Glaze)...

now, if we have a choice between Olaseni and Glaze, I would probably take Olaseni's size...and I think we need Arent regardless, because neither Olaseni or Glaze are going to be the big space eater in the middle that we need playing Center...

I'm hoping that Glaze is like Ernie Abercrombie (I would say Charles Barkley, but that's an unfair thing to hope for)...someone that despite their lack of height could take up some space and could hit the boards and get some hustle points...

Good analysis.

He reminds me of "Big Time" Jones.

Just asking...do we really need another undersized post?

I kind of agree with you, but if we lose both Hardrick and Thompson, I guess I don't mind using the 'ship on Glaze. He would help us start to even out our classes some. But I agree, I'd rather go after more traditional post players at this point. We already have a ton of guys that can play the PF spot (M'Baye, Osby, Fitz), but not many that can match up against 5's.

If LK wants him though, I'll take him.

That short clip leads me to believe that he is an effort/hustle guy. Can't have enough of those guys.

Pick 'em up!

"Daisy Glaze" is my favorite Big Star song. Good omen! I therefore give coach Kruger the go ahead to sign this recruit. :D

Looks like Yo-Yo. Just a really strong, bruiser down in the paint. Thats just fine to bring a guy like that in off the bench to push people around, rebound, foul, and piss people off.
