Not surprised by how successful Lon has been as a coach. But some of the figures that were listed in the article did surprise me. I didn't realize that Kruger's four recruiting classes were ranked nationally (by 247Sports) at 47th, 81st, 49th and 54th.

Also, Lattin (at No. 116) was the highest rated recruit in OU's current starting lineup. Buddy was No. 154 in his class, Cousins No. 223, Spangler No. 139, and Woodard No. 172.

Let it never be said that Lon Kruger can't coach or develop players.
