It’s hoops you troll. Shots didn’t fall. Ever play?? Didn’t think so. Boomer
We’ve found Porter Loser’s burner account.

The irony of that dude calling anyone a troll. We’ve found Porter Loser’s burner account.
Why aren’t you worried about “early games?” Do you not realize this game counts EXACTLY the same as a March conference game?Defense isn’t where it needs to be. We will improve.
Not to worried about early games like these. Ran good offense and got really good looks consistently in the first half, just didn’t make them. Happens sometimes. That is basketball.
I am still in football mindset, so just watched the first half. But it sounds lije we played them pretty even in the second half

Truly bizarre how many of our fans choose to be willfully ignorant regarding the significance of noncon games. Will you be worried if we lose on Saturday and all but guarantee another missed tournament by Moser? This team has no margin for error.

Yea it’s like people think we get credit for the second half against ASU and Gonzaga when they had it on cruise control after beating the snot out of us in the first half. Also it’s bizarre that some of our fans are excited because we “played them evenly in the second half.” Uh, ASU didn’t need to win the second half. Do people think this is an accurate measure of anything?
If OU loses on Saturday then they gotta win 12 conference games to even be in the conversation for the tournament. Any SEC team would be sweating if that happens. 12 conference wins is incredibly tough. Why aren’t you worried about “early games?” Do you not realize this game counts EXACTLY the same as a March conference game?

If we shoot 28% like we did in the first half, I fully expect to lose all those games. I hear what every is saying about Porter and his time here, but at the end of the day, players have to make shots. We missed WIDE OPEN shots the whole 1st half. Many of them from guys who have shot well this year. That's on the players. Now could there have been better team defense, 100%...and that's on the coach for not getting more effort out of them.I'm not going thru this whole thread, but I can't imagine any OU fan being remotely encouraged after what happened last night. We were up 4-0. Hurley substitutes all 5 starters at once, and they go on a 27-2 run...GAME OVER. I can't imagine taking anything positive from that.

We are barely in the top 200 nationally in three-pt shooting percentage. Brown, Reid, and JN are all below 30 percent. Davis is at 10 percent. No, that’s not a typo. Moser lets/encourages all of them to let it fly. So I’d argue that (a) it is somewhat on our dim witted coach if we shoot a poor percentage when bad shooters are taking a ton of our shots, and (b) when you have a bad shooting team, you sure as hell better have a team that cares enough to try on defense. Because if we are going to rely on our offense, we will have plenty more games like last night.Part of Coach Moser's job is to instill in them that offense does not always travel, but defense must. It's easy for players to get frustrated when missing open shots to the point where it negatively impacts their defense. Coach can't let that happen. I remember an OU-Maryland game from the 2000-2001 season...we went several minutes without scoring. I was easily riled up in those days and remember not handling it well. However, our defensive intensity kept us in the game throughout (though we lost). I just looked up the halftime score, and it was 27-25 Maryland. When shots aren't falling, you can't give up on defense - and that's exactly what we did last night.
Even a better example is the 2003 Big XII Tournament Championship game against Missouri which Hollis got injured. We actually went the last 14 minutes of the game without making a single basket (I'm not making that up). We survived by making some foul shots, but anyone who saw that would agree it was one of the painful wins to watch in school history...but we still won! Defense, defense, defense!
Predictable lame post is lame6-3. Cancel the year.
I bet the team doesnt even practice this week just show up and play games from here on out.
Crappy Game.
Still plenty of time to get better.
Hope it starts this weekend.
Also I love him pretending that 6-3 means anything. We all know the team is 2-3 against actual college basketball teams, and even Marquette blows.Predictable lame post is lame
Be careful. Skeeter1 will come get ya lolPredictable lame post is lame
