Yeah, there might be some misstatements or something and I think The OP would probably admit they weren't direct quotes. I seriously doubt they are lies. I admit it seems like a much more open and frank discussion than most of us are used to from coaches but I think it is refreshing.

I never should have shared this information. It does not bother me who does not believe me but it is the truth. i talk to Kruger about once every other week on the telophone and in person. He knows my background and uses me and a few other Oklahoma coaches to get a small list of of Oklahoma talent.. We talk about the future and mostly the current upcoming season.

I will continue to do it as long as some theses posters will stop calling me a liar..I figured they would be happy to get someone on this board with some inside information.. Im lucky to have made a relationship with Kruger. I also talked to Capel Sampson.. i have coached high school basketball for 27 seasons now with 1 year as juco coach..I have been called about d2 colleges but high school is what i like..I have coached my teams to 17 state tournaments reached the state finals 7 times

Nike, love the information. I'm just not sure Kruger would be comfortable with you sharing some of this information publicly from a private conversation. I can't imagine him saying 3 guys on his roster aren't D1 talent is really something he wants quoted for anyone to read.

Do the research and you'll know. His profile says his teams won state championships in 1988, 1992, 1996 and 2003, so it's not like he is trying to hide who he is.
What nikebasketball didn't tell you is that his teams were also runners up to the state title twice, and that he has been the head coach in the state tournament 17 times during his career. If he was "just braggin'," seems to me he would have added those accomplishments to his profile.
By the way, while I have access to the information he submitted when he joined the board, it doesn't reveal a thing about his identity. Google is a wonderful tool if you'll use it.

He did not dog on them it was more like i said he doesnt know how much they can contribute to a whole game like how Buddy will!
I will not post anymore convos with our head coach. I will just tell a little here and there and people can believe what they wanna believe.

Coach, there will always be a few who question or disagree with what you say. Don't worry about the posters who may not agree with you. That's what makes message boards interesting, and fun.
Doubters who question your integrity are another matter entirely. But they are also in the minority. Read the responses to your post on this thread and you'll see what I mean.
My point is, that small group wins if you penalize the majority of posters here who enjoy reading your posts, and that includes your talks with Coach Kruger.

What other reason could there possibly be for including personal achievements like that in his signature? I don't see anybody else on this board including personal achievements in their signature.
I don't doubt that he probably is who he says he is. I do have doubts as to what LK has or is telling him, and how that information is being processed and relayed to this board. It just doesn't seem to pass the smell test to me. And yet, rather than just post his information and wait for a time when it can be shown to be good or bad info, he just comes back and tries to throw these personal accomplishments in our faces. And for a guy claiming to be an OU fan, his knowledge of OU basketball doesn't seem to go back very far.
Just my take.
None of this info is particularly groundbreaking. Cam is a senior and should lead the team. The freshman guards should all be much improved. That's what freshmen do when they become sophomores. As for the other 3, makes total sense. It's totally fair for Coach to question whether they can seriously contribute bc none of the 3 have contributed yet.
Those of you questioning the OP need to relax and just thank him for the info. If you don't believe him that's up to you, but I would rather not discourage people from posting.... Especially when this board can lack intelligent posters at times.

Of course you are right. The problem is that the attack dogs are pushing a different story line. It goes something like this.
1. Cam isn't fit to start. He is best suited for and only qualified to be an off the bench role player.
2. The great Pledger will sorely missed.
3. The massive talent exodus of 2013 will set the program back.
All of which is likely to prove out to be nonsense. But, between now and then, any poster that offers up a different version has to be a liar, or idiot, or worse.
