Great win, but I don't get...

Oudna would have a new lineup every game lol

Definitely not true.

I've never wavered on the starting 5. I just don't think Dinjyl belongs as a key rotation guy.

And I also agree with Krugers mix/match use of the back-up bigs. No good answer there.

Walker has contributed and deserves minutes. James has played poorly at times. It's not black and white difference between the two. But walker is usually more steady.. last night however, he played like an 8th grader

This has a lot to do with Walker and Cousins but...
James played a lot off the bench and did very well. After Walker was subbed in, coach Kruger called a timeout and replaced Walker with Christian James once A&M had cut into the lead.

Cousins had a bad game, and Walker had a bad call against him and didn't really play great while James stepped up. Coach Kruger subbed C. James in for Walker at that time and it was the right decision.

At the end of the day, I want Cousins and Walker to both get minutes and contribute to the result (a W). I didn't feel like either added a lot last night (I really felt like OU played twice as good with Cousins on the bench), but I want to see both do great and succeed, especially as seniors. But if we're going off of last night, Cousins is on a short leash, and James is my first off the bench.

I really, really want to see the seniors take this team to the Final Four though.

Nobody can play 40 minutes very effectively. Walker spells Cousins, Woodard, and Buddy. Walker probably played 15 minutes. James played 1-2 minutes.

We're really playing with a 7 man rotation with Walker and Buford off the bench. The other minutes are just token (James and AK).

The last 4 regular season conference games plus the 2 games in the B12 conference and the 2 NCAA tournament games had Walker playing an average of 10.6 minutes while James played 8.9 minutes. In the last 4 games James has had games of 13 points (WVU) and 12 points (aTm). For certain James' minutes are more than token.

Cousins had a bad game.

I swear, people are always reaching to try and make Cousins look bad. A lot of OU fans treat him the same way they treated Landry Jones.

Cousins didn't have a bad game yesterday. He shot poorly, but didn't take double digit attempts. And he had a couple bad turnovers. But he also had 8 assists, at least a half dozen more hockey assists, 4 rebounds, and played solid to great defense when he was on the court. That's nowhere near a bad game.

Exactly. Cousins had a very solid game despite not scoring much.

And yet LK felt the need to play Cousins the fewest minutes he has played in a game this year since before Christmas. That's at least somewhat telling, right?

Woodard was on and it was a great opportunity to go with the hot hand (James). The lead helped as well.

Glad Cousins is rested for tonight!

It is a good thing when the team plays well with Isaiah on the bench, it just happens so rarely you have to know his play is more than stats.

... the minutes #2 is getting.

Made a couple big shots but the guy is an absolute freezer for the team. Like -80 +\- in conference. He goes in, lead goes down. Every time.

you stop my posts but you let this little prick continue to rip on KIDS on the team. Its the same kid too.

STOP YOU PRICK!

ENJOY the run clown.

No. It was a blessing to be able to give him the extra rest.

Cousins' presence is invaluable. Defense and QBing.
