It has been a pleasant surprise so far to see her playing consistently well. Lack of consistency has marked her career up til now. It will help tremendously if she can continue playing at the level of the first few games. She and Kaylon both need to cut down on fouls. But, proud of both girls at this point. We will be fine inside if they both keep improving.

I like their shared minutes at the five spot. If only we had a solid 4, we would be set in the frontcourt. I also noticed that Sherri plays the both at critical points in the game. That, too, is a nice strategy.

Griffin slipped back to the old passive Griffin today. When she is playing aggressive and looking for the ball, she helps the team. Today was not one of those days.

But, go to the stat sheet and see who the post was when OU took the 17-2 lead. who was on the floor when we got that lead?

Actually, it was Griffin for 4:55 and Kaylon for 1:26. Griffin 9-0. Kaylon 8-2. Louisville was 0-9 with Griffin in, 0-1 with Kaylon. Griffin had one rebound, Kaylon zero. Kaylon had a layup. But, these were the centers when OU ran out to a 17-2 lead. Was there a reason? Why was Louisville 0-10? Luck?
