2 points.....2 rebounds....3 fouls.....her team is down by 24 points at half.
Guess the refs aren't intimidated by her and no Mulkey to throw fits, so fouls will finally be called on her....By the way, Look at them tatoo's on her arm!!!! Guess thats why she always wore long sleeves???

Dell Donne seems to be an answer for the Sky. She is the most ready of the rookies.

I think they must have used Big Twelve officials in the Shock game. They kind of shafted Tulsa. Since the game ended up regulation tied, when they review the flop and call it a flop, does that mean that Tulsa wins?

Chicago won 102 - 80.....griner had 2 dunks, 13 pts, 6 rebounds, and 3 fouls.
Della Donne had 22 points, I think and not sure of her other statistics, but she played a well-rounded game.

EDD played beyond her years. I, along with LaChina Robinson, predict she will be Rookie of the Year instead of Griner.

Griner had 17 points (7-11 FG) and 8 rebounds in 27 minutes.

Delle Donne had 22 points (9-21 FG) and 8 rebounds in 34 minutes.

I was reading the headlines today in sports......Griner breaks record in debut, or some other nonsense. Turns out the record was for dunks in a game..... I didn't get to see much of the tall blonde (Delle Donne), but did get to see some of her highlights during the tournament. She has a complete game and I think she will be ROY baring anything crazy. JMO

People were drooling over Maya Moore but Delle Donne is a better all-around player.

There are both great; but different types of players Maya is the best catch and shoot player in the world and like Lebron she can impose her will on a game at a very high level (like Sims at Baylor) , EDD has a very very high IQ. If both would have ended up at Uconn would have been even more unstoppable.

Delle Donne reminds me somewhat of Kevin Durant. I would expect her coach to spread the floor like the Thunder does and allow EDD to beat her defender one on one. There aren't many who will have great success defending her.

I agree I think she's way more of a guard then a big she is like the female KD. I think the next EDD will be Asia Wilson she's a big guard to.

If Wilson signs with North Carolina, look out, they will likely make a run at UCONN for top dog. Their recruiting has been outstanding.

As long as Sylvia Hatchell is Head Coach, UNC will never contend for the Championship. Not enough organization or discipline.

She has won one national championship with several conference championships. She must be fairly close to 1000 coaching wins by now. Also, talent wins games and she is adding talent at a fast rate.

UNC's National Championship is ancient history - about as relevant as Texas Tech's. And they can win their conference occasionally on talent alone. But they are just far too sloppy and undisciplined a team to compete for a National Championship in today's environment.

I tend to agree with this. NC has had some talent on a regular basis, but it rarely does much with it.

Even you might be able to win with the kind of talent UNC is bringing in!

I think you and Tango are both under-estimating what UNC can accomplish with they type of elite players they are signing. I believe the accusation of them not being disciplined is a myth. Unless you attend practices I do not think anyone could know that.

They may be very disciplined in practice, but I don't see that when I watch their games, which is what counts. Lack of discipline was one of the reasons Baylor lost to Louisville. Perhaps Hatchel will change her MO, but I would be very surprised if she did.

I don't buy it. You could make that claim against any team (including OU) when they lose.

The fact that you can make that claim against any team does not mean it is a false claim. It just means it might be a universal problem that may well have different magnitudes of effect on a team.

Good point. But, I don't know how anyone could possibly know if the team was undisciplined or not. Example, when OU is dribbling around on the outside of the arc and has to take a desperation shot before the shot clock expires, is that being undisciplined, or is that is that what Sherri wanted them to do, or is that a lack of execution? Anyone could say we are being undisciplined when the real truth is most likely poor execution, unless Sherri was intentionally trying to burn clock.
