Harrison Barnes selects North Carolina

I thought I would get a thread started so everyone can discuss his decision this afternoon. I know many believe Oklahoma has a slim-to-none chance of being the school he chooses, but he continues to list them as a possibility.

Choices: Oklahoma, Kansas, North Carolina, Duke, UCLA, and Iowa State.

The Des Moines Register will have a live video feed for the selection on the Des Moines Register website for those who are unable to watch it on ESPNU. They are currently showing some highlights from him at Ames until the press conference begins.

Where does everyone think he's going to end up?

Put me down for North Carolina. If he doesnt' choose OU, then my second choice for him would have been Iowa State, but my gut tells me he that he will be a tarheel.

Hopefully his lack of information about his official visit to OU was a plus since he rambled on about Duke and UNC visits. Make them feel good then boom out of no where he is a Sooner for a year. But my money is on UNC. But the thing about UNC, no one will remember him 5-10 years from now because he is a dime a dozen there. If he went to OU, he could possibly be an instrumental person in rebuilding the program for the long run.

2 weeks ago i would of said Duke hands down, but the last couple of days something in my gut says he stays home or goes to Kansas.

I'd like to see him stay at ISU and maybe they can get a little bit back to where they used to be. Its always better for us to have more North teams challenging KU.
