It's hard to compare FG% between a power forward and a shooting guard. Smart isn't backing his guy down and shooting 4-footers.
 
Smart controls a game better than anybody else in college this year and I don't think it is close. His floor game has the potential to be as good as Chris Paul.

Mclemore is a better athlete better shooter (not close). Better scorer

They are both good defenders (although smart gambles to much).

Smart is a little better ball handler.


As a draft prospect however smart is close to his physical peak. And he does really have a position.

Mclemore is a prototype 2 guard and will get much stronger in the next couple years.

Mclemore might go #1 overall.

I would take Smart over McLemore. As a point guard he just has a bigger impact on the game.
 
I would take Smart over McLemore in college, not the NBA. Smart is a stud, only thing I hate about him is that he plays for OSU.
