He's a combo forward type and the top juco player who is averaging 30 points so far this season. They list him at 6-9, 240. He listed us a couple of weeks ago, but haven't heard whether we've offered. Here's some video.

Can he rebound? Can he defend? Is he a shot blocker? Because that is what we need starting next to Tiny next year....

Not saying I'd be too upset if he came to OU though....:)

Doesn't look 6-9 to me. Looks about the same height as Juan Patillo. Maybe 6-7.

I'd love to have him, but I'm like big, we need another rebounder and a weakside shot blocker. I could care less if he scored 28 in juco. He looks to be a good prospect though.

Jerry Meyer on Ratliffe:

Watched him play on the circuit. Three-star prospect who is a physical low post player. Tad undersized but strong. Can score a little down there. But mainly a rebounder, defender, motor type guy.

Really liked what he said about his rebounding and defense. He might be just what this team needs next year. What's strange is that I thought he played more like a guard/wing, but Jerry knows best....

Yea that's all well and good, but does he have an attitude?

That and grades are what worry me. You just never know with JUCOs and Capel has been burned quite a bit thus far.

I was just happy to see that the guy rebounds/defends.

NEW SUITOR: The list of schools clamoring for Ricardo Ratliffe's services continues to grow. Unbeaten Kentucky, coached by John Calipari, is now among the schools interested in the 6-9 sophomore. Ratliffe, the nation's leading scorer, is also being pursued by Alabama, Arkansas, Cincinnati, Clemson, Missouri, Oklahoma and Louisville.
