Who do you guys think will be the top teams and players in the state this year?

Depends on if you're talking about small, school large school, your general area schools and players. But here goes:

Teams: Putnam City West, Tulsa Union, Del City, Millwood, Mustang, Midwest City, Carl Albert.

Players: Mitchell Solomon-Bixby, Omega Harris-PC West, Jeffrey Mead-Union, Del City has 2 good guards, Jalkoby Long-Mustang, Shake Milton-Owasso, Austin Meyer-Mustang, Chauncey Collins-OKC Storm, Jacob Hammonds-???.

Those are just names off the top of my head I know I missed a few schools and players. I'm more familiar with smaller schools, but I assumed you wanted best overall teams and players that translate to college better.

Hammonds is at Commanche.

Victory Christian and Mclain are the favorites in 4a.
Okemha and Sperry and Verdgris are the favorites in 3a.

Oh yeah I forgot VC has a good point guard that will go D1, not sure if it will be mid-major or high major though forgot his name. Mclain is supposed to have good younger players. Okemah Sperry and Verdigris all have a standout, but their ceilings seem to be D2, NAIA, or lower.

Class 2A favorites- Millwood, Northeast, and Haworth. Filled with athletes.
Class A- Glencoe and Weleekta. Both have good guards.
Class B- Arnett and Red Oak. Arnett has a mismatch nightmare for class B with a 6'4 inside-outside player.

Del City lost their best guard Stephen Edwards who's committed to Santa Clara, he's transferred to Putnam City West

I pretty much pay no attention to recruiting.

Are there any "big time" recruits in Oklahoma this year? I know OSU has a commit from the kid from Bixby.

Who among those other players will be going D-1?

Omega Harris, PC West - UTEP
Stephen Edwards, PC West - Santa Clara
Carson Meier and Jeff Mead - are both OU football commits
Chauncey Collins - TCU
Collin Jennings, Harrah - UMKC
I Think Shawn Olden from Union, Cameron Peters and Adrion Williams will all go D1. Anyone I'm leaving out?

What was the falling out with Hammonds and OU? Who cooled on whom? Is he more of a banger which fits into the Big 10 style?
Is OU in better shape with the bigs they have gotten instead of Hammonds?

As of a few weeks ago, Hammonds had not been ruled as eligible by the OSSAA. Apparently he has already played 4 years of HS ball.

OU told him to look else where. We are much better with our bigs.
