havent exactly been shooting lights out compared to the first games.

hoping it's a holiday funk and we shoot our way out of it tonight.

if we shoot tonight like we have the last few games then we will lose just as soon as we get ranked #1

I will admit I have seen us hunker down on defense much better in spots. maybe that will be the silver lining since D travels so much easier.

We'll need a special boost from somewhere to get a win in the Hilton Coliseum. Beating ISU in the LNC is one thing. Doing it again in their own "temple of doom" for visiting teams is another matter entirely.

Still, I'm not about to throw in the towel before the game tips off. This team has proven all season they can dig down deep when a game is on the line and find a way to come away with a victory, or the next best thing to it as we saw in the Allen Fieldhouse, another unfriendly environment for visitors.

Hot shooting, great defense, a little luck or a call that goes our way. I'm not picky or too proud to accept a break or two. Just as long as OU wins.

Boomer!

OU is a jump shooting team...it's very simplistic, but their success is dependent on the quality of shots they get in the half court.

that is am excellent point. the first games of the season their shot selection was fabulous. Now, not as much. Of course better defenses have much to do with it.
