We have hope again for this basketball program!
I'm not sure how this year will finish (lots of basketball still to be played), but for the first time in a very long time, I am starting to see how this team could become really good in a couple of years. That's the thing that encourages me about these 3 Big 12 wins. It's becoming a lot clearer that these guys are getting better.
Sherri Coale has repeatedly said over and over for the last year and a half that we have the potential to be a really good basketball team. And looking at the results, all the turnovers, and all the losses, it was impossible for a dumb fan like me to see it. But I do think Sherri was on to something, and I do think this program is onto something.
Perhaps hitting rock bottom was part of the rebuilding process. Because we are rebuilding, folks. We have an upward trajectory!
