Former Arizona coach Lute Olson, Baylor coach Scott Drew, Texas Tech coach Billy Gillispie and former Utah coach and current Gonzaga assistant Ray Giacoletti are among those CBSSports.com has confirmed invested with Salinas. A document obtained late Sunday by CBSSports.com has testimonals from other coaches who invested with Salinas -- specifically Nebraska coach Doc Sadler, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi coach Willis Wilson, former Houston and Nevada coach Pat Foster, former Duquesne coach and current United States Merchant Marine Academy coach Danny Nee and Augustana College coach Grey Giovanine.

his son chris was a grad asst at kstate, then a dobo at texas a&m then got a coaching job (may have been a dobo still) at a smaller school somewhere. last i had heard (4 years or so back) he was out of coaching, but it wouldn't surprise me if he had gotten back into it at some level.

ATHENS, Ga. -- Former University of Georgia football coach and ex-ESPN college football analyst Jim Donnan has been accused of making millions of dollars from a Ponzi scheme that also enriched his three children and their spouses, according to documents filed in an Ohio bankruptcy case. The federal court documents, filed Thursday, are part of a larger bankruptcy case involving West Virginia-based company GLC Ltd. Formed in March 2004, GLC Enterprises, as it was known then, attracted investments from several high-profile figures from the world of sport. Among them are former University of Oklahoma and Dallas Cowboys coach Barry Switzer; Virginia Tech football coach Frank Beamer; Texas State football coach Dennis Franchione; and Texas Tech football coach Tommy Tuberville.
