I guess I'll be the one to get it started...

This shows Kelvin was already hired when the rumors of the transfers became public:

Houston starters Danuel House and TaShawn Thomas are planning to transfer, according to @RcsSports. That’s not a good start for Kelvin.

If a coach leaves players should be allowed to transfer and be eligible immediately. Period. Then schools would get more serious about holding coaches to their contracts or think twice about firing them willy-nilly.

I will say this, I read that last article on transfers and there has been serious talk with this young man about working to get a transfer and play now. I would think that the coaching staff and even the player would have know about this article prior to those conversations???

I really think if Lon Kruger would have been our coach for the last several years (Capel's years included) and this program was clean for that time he would have a great shot of the getting to play. However with Sampson and then Capel bringing in the Problems he recruited, I am not sure enough time as passed.

Just my thoughts, we'll see.

Thomas, who was second-team All-American Athletic Conference as a junior last year after averaging a team-leading 15.4 points and 8.1 rebounds, has one season of eligibility remaining. OU will appeal to the NCAA that he play in 2014-15.

Otherwise, Thomas must wait until 2015-16 to suit up for the Sooners. “If I have to sit out, I have no problem with that,” he told the Houston Chronicle on Sunday .

Kruger’s three most productive forwards — Romero Osby, Amath M’Baye and Ryan Spangler — all sat out after transferring to OU, then made up for lost time by having a major impact on the program. Spangler led the Big 12 Conference in rebounding last season.
