I love OU Basketball

The challenge, though, is what will he gain by coming back. To me, if he feels he can come back, improve his handles and his ability to attack off the dribble against tight D, and move into the first round with a guaranteed three year contract, then it's worth it. If he's still a second round pick after next year, then he should go.

If he comes back, it's to win at OU. All of those attributes can be improved playing against bigger, more experienced players at the next level...whatever that may be. No stupid NCAA coaching limits or classes to get in his way (assuming he graduates this spring/summer).

His stock will never be higher, IMO.

Unless he is having a blast in college.

After the season, Buddy will get good advice from Coach Kruger. Coach Kruger has NBA experience and must know lots of people in the professional basketball business. The OU coaches have Buddy's best interest at heart. They all love Buddy. They will make sure he has all the information available to make his decision. That will be useful information from real NBA insiders, and not some mock draft speculation posted by reporters in newspapers or TV blogs.
