I REAAALLLLLLLLY want KState to win

I'm not sure if there's a single pro on this Butler team. Maybe 20 can play there. But they play so well as a team.

butler's going home folks, all the way to indy.

yeah...Kitties showed some life towards the end...but they played exhausted the whole game.

Nice game by Butler. They're certainly good enough to justify a final four birth. Grats to them.

Yep, had KSU not done that 2OT game it would had been different. Shots were short, tip ins missed, all signs of a tired team.

Congrats to Butler! They can beat either Tenn or Mich St too so they got a shot!

K-State could not have had a bigger meltdown that last minute of play. Wow.

Butler had a lot to do with that defensively. They weren't allowing KSU to have any open 3s near the end. That was a carbon copy of the end of the Cuse game. Cuse grabs a lead Butler goes on a 11-2 run to go up 8 and put the game away.

i just hope the pressure of playing in indy doesn't become the one thing that rattles this team.

Still, Sutton and Clemente are normally savvy enough to not make those foolish turnovers. Part of it was Butler, part of it was just boneheaded mistakes by K-State's leaders.

Syracuse was making those same mistakes late and they are a 1 seed and have a lot of good veterans also. Really good defensive teams in close games win most of the time. Especially teams that haven't lost since December.

Clemente was exhausted, that 2OT had a lot to do with those mistakes. I thought they should have slowed down and worked it inside more once they got caught up.

Were they goaltending missed shots? Did they have guards as good and clutch as Clemente and Pullen making those foolish mistakes? Were they as fatigued playing in a 2 OT game two nights before?

K-State had a true meltdown that last minute. Give credit to Butler, but part of it was on K-State's part.

KSU did seem to be playing in mud all game. But they still made it interesting in the 2nd half. Just couldn't make clutch plays. Butler did make those players. Teams that win 25 straight games do that.

Congrats Butler!!!! What is more is that I will not have to listen to Clemente whine anymore.

Okay, I guess Butler made K-State goal tend on a missed shot.
