Home wins over Nebraska and OSU. Road victories over Tech and either/or KSU-OSU.

Too much purple drank for me tonight or is it realistic?

I love the way this team has improved. They have great chemistry, some offensive punch and toughness we haven't seen around these parts for a while.

i see us winning 3 out of the 5 you listed and finishing 7-9, however i have been wrong all season by first saying 4 wins, then dropping it to 2 so based on that if i say 7 then 8-9 will prolly happen

If we win at OSU on Saturday then 8-8 can/will happen. If not 6-10 is what it will be.

8-8 or 7-9 would be a HUGE accomplishment for THIS team.

Even 6-10 is a big step after what many have believed this season, especially after Chaminade.

I won't call you crazy. A month ago I didn't think we would see 4 conference wins. I'm feeling good about OU basketball again and I'm so proud of these guys. :woot

I think 6-10 with wins over Nebraska and OSU in Norman is most likely. But 7-9 could be possible if we steal one at Tech. I think 8-8 is a little much.

But I hope you get your wish. That would mean NIT for OU and I think we'd do well in it.

after the win at iowa st. i thought if everything went right we could finish 8-8... so far so good...

Nebbish at home will not be easy...they grind it out.

Nebraska plays like the old Sampson teams. Grind it out, make it rough and physical, and force the other team to make plays on offense. I don't know if we can beat them because their defense is very good, but that game is more winnable after yesterday than I previously thought.

If I were betting, I would say we beat OSU in Norman, as our only other conference win, but have close losses to NU, KSU, and at Tech. However, I picked us to only win 1 conference game, so I'd already be broke if I were betting.

As much as the NU game looks more winnable after last night, it's fair to say the OSU game on Saturday and the game at KSU look more losable than they did before last night. But, in college basketball anything can happen. If we can get a night with 2 of the 3 of Pledger, Clark, and/or Fitz (or all 3) we could win any game in the conference with the exception of KU and Texas. So, you never know. That's why we play the games.

IF we beat KU or Texas IF cause i know thats a very big IF... i wonder.. do we storm the court?! haha. ive always wanted to do that...... ill dominate all those yellow shirts

I'd love 8-8 but it's hard to be disappointed with 6-10 considering how this team looked early on.

I will be making polls asking for the board's opinion on this before those games...my opinion is yes to both, but I'm far from being the one that decides haha.

Only if KU and Texas are top 5 national teams.

I dont think you are crazy...but i'm not sure they will get there...

no one picked us to win 4 in a row though so why not?

might as well go 13-3, RIGHT!

and win the conference tourney, then make it to Houston

It is not crazy but it will be difficult. This is a crazy Big XII season. Two weeks ago OU and Tech were tied for last place in the Big XII. Right now they both have winning streaks and are tied for 3rd and 7th in the conference.

I hope they do it. A win in Stillwater will sure help the cause and I don't think that is out of the question. I picked OSU simply because they have home court advantage.
