I would for sure take M. Brown......

smart doesn't finish at an elite level in college ... he won't in the nba ..

as for shooting .. smart has gotten worse .. whats makes you think he will get better?

but for the gratuitous fouls called in smart's favor on his penetrations, smart would be averaging aroude 12 points a game and his lack of explosiveness around the rim to finish would be showcased...

smart is the most overrated player since Josh Mcroberts or greg paulus

I think Smart will be a two guard. I believe he will shoot enough to play in the NBA. The caviat is whether he continues to have an attitude problem. I believe he is a better shooter than he has been this year. He is trying to overpower everyone and forcing things.

I also agree that Brown has a shot. Really like his game.

I think Brown has a chance to be a star in the Association. I think Smart will be a flop.

unlikely that he is ever a "star" because it is doubtful that he ever is a starter ..

but as a combo guard (or undersized 2) off the bench .. he could be very good and maybe even a 6th man candidate one day

he doesn't shoot is the same universe to be an nba 2 guard ... and he would be way undersized as an nba 2 guard ..

I agree. I suspect virtually all coaches are telling their players they can live with Smart hitting some threes but you need to stop penetration. If I am correct, that means guys are giving him space he otherwise wouldn't have and he still doesn't shoot from the college 3 point line at a notably high percentage.

In the NBA he will face better defense and more difficult 3 point shot. I just don't see him as a sg.
