Who could he bring with him for the staff? Given his young age, it makes sense to have a veteran staff - does he keep anyone from the current staff? Should he? Does Hollis come home? Thoughts?

IF it is Kellen, then he definitely should have a veteran coach on staff to help him learn the ropes of leading a D-1 program. Hartman seems to had the most active role in recruiting (according to his bio on soonersports) so I would imagine he would be the best candidate of current coaches to keep. But if Kellen is the pick, I certainly hope he brings either White or Price along with him for their ties to the Houston area.

Hartman is going with Kevin and Lon to Las Vegas

I'm sure Kellen would bring along with a veteran coach. Not sure who, but between himself and Kelvin, I'm sure they know a lot of people.

i think i can guess who abd will suggest as an assistant coach like that.

I hadn't read that yet, thanks! I hate to lose a good recruiter. Maybe it will be a clean slate of coaches.

With Hartman on his way out, it should be. The others aren’t worth saving IMHO.

I said this in another thread, but if it is kellen...he could bring Alvin brooks with him. He’s a veteran coach and is highly regarded in recruiting the Houston area. I don’t know if brooks would be interested but if so, he’d be a great addition along with kellen.

I think molinari did a nice job with the defense this year. Our staff was the best it’s been since we had Lew Hill (RIP), Henson, and Crutch.

I thought Molinari did a very good job with the defense. Pooh was brought in to deliver Bryce Thompson. We know how that worked out.

I imagine you'll see a clean slate. It's part of the business. At this level, these guys are well-compensated but understand the sword hangs about their head at just about every step.

I hope Molinari stays if it'd be a good fit. OU's defense was really solid this year.
