Almost certain I read that after this season his buyout would be $7 miliion. That is a pretty big number.

Didn't know that Royce Jeffries had passed away. I googled it and that is an awful story.

And OSU isn't horrible, but they are definitely below average.

OSU is losing so much money that they will look dumb if they don't pay a buy out. Look at their schedule. About the most they will win is like 14 games. That's if they win all their toss up games.

Kenpom has them at 92 which isn't horrible but it's not good either. It's 2nd worst in the conference by far. I don't see any way they finish higher than 9th.

Seriously, though, I hope Lon has our kids believing that OSU really is a world-beater. I've seen worse OSU teams beat OU in Stillwater, like those two in a row in the mid-80's that were mind-boggling. I also can't help but think back to an expected football mauling of another "orange team" in 2015 that never occurred (OU-Texas, of course) that was accompanied by media speculation of "biggest blowouts ever" in the Red River Shootout....
