If we win tomorrow, I think we win the tie breaker for 7th place with OSU because - get ready for this - we were able to beat Tech twice.

I think OSU split with them and we would have swept that series. At first I feared we would lose that tie breaker because we split with last place Kansas, but it may not get to that point.

What a year it has been.

You are correct and if the standings stay as they are now OU would win the tie breaker over OSU because of our win with higher ranked WVU unless TCU beats Texas and ties WVU at 11-7 than the tie breaker falls to Texas Tech and OU again wins with two wins over Tech and OSU with a split.

That is exactly how I see it, SS.

Actually if TCU beats Texas, there would be a 4 way tie between Texas, WV, K State, and TCU. The tie breaker looks at the record of OU and OSU in total against those 4 tied teams (before their tie breakers are applied). We would each have the same record in total against those 4, so it would fall through to us sweeping Tech (if that in fact happens tomorrow night). Not a glorious way to get 7th place in my mind, but it might be a bit better than 8th place. How far the "mighty" have fallen.

A 7th place finish for this staff would be a successful year..That's about where I rank this staff..and if they do..OU couldn't have done it without Colton
