Interesting to see that IW went on the road to defeat a decent (if erratic) St. John's team by 22 points. The Johnnies are not great, but I'd have expected them to handle IW at home.

While I'm glad they won, Incarnate Word is no resume builder. They're currently 4-5 with a loss to Our Lady of the Lake (I'm not making that up). Their other wins are Texas Lutheran, Schreiner, and Dallas Christian.

Yep, I think St. John's lost by 30 to a Division II team in the exhibition preseason...yikes!

Yep, lost to St. Thomas Aquinas, Division II school, 90-58. The also lost to Vanderbilt, Indiana, Fordam, and the New Jersey Institute of Technology. St. John's has really fallen on hard times in basketball.

But they beat Syracuse, which is a decent win.

I'm not trying to build up St. John's, but I sure thought they'd take care of IW.

You live in the area so you can correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Syracuse - St John's a big Rivalry game? That could be like OU - Texas football game this year.

Good point. I don't think it's quote OU-texas, but it's a rivalry.
