Yes, and we allowed ISU (a perimeter oriented team) to shoot over 50% from the field. I did watch the game and I have no clue what the OP was watching.
I dont think anyone can stop a shooter who has the protection of a really good screen. Iowa St. sets excellent screens and their shooters dont miss (against us).

There is no reason why OU can't set solid screens, too. The difference is we don't have players who can make the shots consistently, even when they're open. ISU has six players who average 35% or better from behind the arc; three of the six shoot well over 40%.
ISU players are quick and athletic enough to close the gap on defense when they get caught out of position. Speed, quickness and athleticism are not words I'd use to describe the players on our roster right now, except for Grooms, Osby and Clark. Two of the three continue to go over screens in an attempt to guard their man, which often negates their quickness.
In other words, OU has some ground to make up if we expect to beat a team like ISU anytime soon, especially on the road.
