Is the Abilene Christian game in the field house?

As it should be. That was terrible.
Did you attend any of the FH games? I made all but one and had a great time.

The last one was poorly attended, and I had a hunch it would be the last.

Never got to attend one, but I wish I could have. They sounded like great fun to me.

I attended and sat in upper deck behind basket. You couldn't even see have of the lane nor goal from up there. Everyone thought it would be packed but never was. Built in 1928, it's way passed it's prime. It works great for volleyball and wrestling and gymnastics as you don't need the whole floor for the event but it's not relevant as a basketball arena today.

Enjoyed the two I attended.

The main problem I saw was the floor conditions. Guys sliding all over the place...

I heard they couldn't because of capacity and Abilene bringing so many people.

The regular season game on New Years Eve afternoon was probably 60%-70% filled. If they hadn't put it in such a crappy date and hour it might have been nearly full. I never went to the exhibition games played there. With that said, I don't go to the exhibition games anyway.

I enjoyed the field house games, but I'm also fine with them not going back. The charm of playing in the old building wears off after an hour or so sitting on ridiculously uncomfortable concrete seats with obstructed views of parts of the court.
