Is this team like the OU football circa 1999?

This team seems to suffer from the same fate as Bob Stoops first team, good enough to keep it close, but not good enough to consistently win.

One more year with Moser and I think we will see these games turn into Ws.

Love Moser's energy and style and I think, like Stoops, he is squeezing everything out of this roster he can right now.

If Harkless or Groves was better offensively last night or we had Ethan and CJ for the entire game, I think OU wins the last two games. There is just not enough talent so the margin for surviving a bad shooting night for a player or two is just not there.

I think Jacob should be getting more minutes. The Grove's brothers, having played together their whole lives, know each other's game inside and out. Moser should take advantage of that chemistry.

Maybe not win it all, but I think they can finish (win) more of these close games next year and moving forward
